Only a limited number of students (maximum of 300) can partake of the exceptional atmosphere the Académie Laurentienne offers each year.

The boarding school, as faithfully as possible, recreates a family atmosphere where the most of the comfortably furnished rooms, adapted to suit the residents' ages, have private bathrooms, respecting each one's privacy.
Académie Laurentienne is a private, francophone, coeducational elementary and secondary school dedicated to the public interest; Laurentian Academy offers in English the IGCSE education administrated by the University of Cambridge and we also offer language, sports, cultural, and tourist stays of varied duration.
We offer to our students of Secondaire 500 help for choosing an orientation in Cégeps.
The Académie Laurentienne has the advantage of a truly comprehensive program for its students, encompassing both the physical as well as the intellectual. The incomparable natural site for sports and other outdoor activities, as well as the numerous recreational set ups are at the student's disposal.
Depending on the season and the specific programs at each scholastic level, the students are introduced to an impressive list of indoor sports as well as a regular physical education program by well trained instructors and coaches including the downhill skiing season that last over 10 weeks and the introductory horseback riding course available in the spring.
Several dozen teams in all sorts of activities and at different levels compete intramural.
We have Internet facilities for all of our students and it is actually included in the activities.
So that our students can learn and live different experiences during the school year aiming to their cultural development, we present five major cultural events related to music, theater, and the discovery of the world.
We are affiliated with the Ministère de l'Éducation, University of Cambridge, International School Association, Fédération des associations de l'enseignement privé, Federation of International Youth Travel Organization, Association of Language Travel Organization, World Youth and Student Travel Conference, and the Canadian Education Centre.
Throughout the scholastic year, our institution welcomes young foreign visitors (10 to 17 years of age) from all 5 continents and these young people come for varied lengths of time to immerse themselves in linguistics (English or French), sports, cultural, and tourist experiences.
We have open houses from September to May every year and the first one will take place in September, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. for admission for school year 2005-2006.
